Skin Checks &
Minor Procedures

Protect your skin health with comprehensive skin cancer checks, workplace skin assessments, and minor surgical procedures. Our experienced GPs provide early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care in a convenient local clinic setting.

Why Skin Checks & Minor Procedures Matter.

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, making regular skin checks an important part of preventative healthcare. Early detection of suspicious moles, lesions, and skin changes can significantly improve treatment outcomes and reduce complications.

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, making regular skin checks an important part of preventative healthcare. Early detection of suspicious moles, lesions, and skin changes can significantly improve treatment outcomes and reduce complications.

Our GPs provide thorough skin cancer examinations and can identify concerning skin lesions before they become more serious. For patients working in industries with significant sun exposure or occupational skin risks, workplace skin checks can help detect damage early and support ongoing health monitoring.

Where appropriate, minor surgical procedures can be performed safely within our clinics, including the removal of suspicious moles or lesions, biopsies for further investigation, and treatment of common skin conditions such as warts and cysts. Our team uses modern techniques with a focus on patient comfort, clear communication, and high-quality follow-up care.

Benefits of GP-based minor procedures include same-day treatment options, reduced costs compared to hospital-based services, shorter waiting times, and the convenience of receiving care from your trusted local medical team.

What to Expect.

From assessment through to treatment and follow-up, our team will guide you through every step of your skin health journey.

Skin assessment

Your GP will examine your skin, discuss any concerns, and assess moles, lesions, or skin changes that may require monitoring, investigation, or treatment.

Diagnosis & planning

If a suspicious lesion is identified, your GP will discuss the findings, recommend appropriate investigations or procedures, and explain your treatment options.

Procedure day

Minor procedures such as biopsies, mole removals, cyst treatments, or wart management can often be performed in-clinic using local anaesthetic for your comfort.

Follow-up care

We provide wound care advice, pathology result reviews where required, and ongoing monitoring to ensure optimal healing and long-term skin health.
