Minor Surgical
Procedures

Minor surgical procedures performed in a general practice setting, with personalised care, clear follow-up, and ongoing support throughout your treatment and recovery.

Why Minor Surgical Procedures Matter.

Minor procedures can help diagnose, treat, or remove a range of skin and soft tissue concerns. Early assessment and timely treatment can support better health outcomes and ongoing monitoring where needed.

Minor procedures can help diagnose, treat, or remove a range of skin and soft tissue concerns. Early assessment and timely treatment can support better health outcomes and ongoing monitoring where needed.

Our clinics perform a range of minor surgical procedures within a general practice setting, allowing patients to receive timely care in a familiar and supportive environment. Procedures may include the removal of suspicious moles or lesions, biopsies for further testing, and treatment of benign skin conditions such as warts and cysts. We focus on patient comfort, clear communication, and continuity of care, with appropriate follow-up and monitoring to support healing and recovery.

What to Expect.

Your procedure appointment is designed to provide safe, efficient care with clear guidance before, during, and after treatment.

Before your procedure

Your doctor will assess the area of concern, discuss the recommended procedure, explain any risks or aftercare requirements, and answer any questions you may have.

During the procedure

Minor procedures are performed in our clinic using local anaesthetic where appropriate to help maximise comfort. The procedure itself will depend on the type of treatment being performed.

Aftercare & recovery

We’ll provide clear instructions to support healing and recovery, including wound care advice, signs to monitor, and information about when to seek further review if needed.

Follow-up & ongoing care

Where appropriate, we’ll arrange follow-up appointments to review healing, discuss biopsy or pathology results, and provide any ongoing treatment or monitoring required.
