Health Checks

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of illness in Australia, but many risk factors can be identified and managed early. Regular heart health checks can help reduce your risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular conditions.

Why Heart Health Checks Matter.

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of illness in Australia, but many risk factors can be identified and managed early. Regular heart health checks can help reduce your risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular conditions.

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of illness in Australia, but many risk factors can be identified and managed early. Regular heart health checks can help reduce your risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular conditions.

Our Healthy Heart Checks & Cardiovascular Risk Assessments are designed to assess your overall heart health and identify potential risk factors before serious illness develops. During your assessment, we may review blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, weight, family history, smoking status, physical activity, and lifestyle habits. Using these results, we can help you better understand your cardiovascular risk and provide personalised advice to support your long-term health and wellbeing.

What to Expect.

Your heart health assessment is designed to provide a clearer picture of your cardiovascular health and support early prevention.

Before your appointment

You may be asked to bring information about your medical history, current medications, family history, and any recent blood test results if available.

During the assessment

Your doctor or nurse will review your cardiovascular risk factors and overall health. This may include blood pressure checks, cholesterol and blood sugar testing, weight and BMI measurements, and discussions about lifestyle habits.

Personalised heart health advice

We’ll discuss your results and provide tailored recommendations to help reduce your cardiovascular risk, including lifestyle changes, preventative care, and treatment options where appropriate.

Ongoing preventative care

If ongoing monitoring or support is recommended, we’ll help you stay on track with follow-up care, repeat assessments, and long-term heart health management.
