What is a heart health check?
The Heart Foundation informs us that 1.4 million Australians have a high chance of having a heart attack or stroke in the next five years. Many of us are unaware of this risk. A quick 20-minute checkup with your GP can assess your risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Heart Health checks are bulk billed at our practice.
Book your heart health check now if you have any of the following factors:
- You’re 40+ or 30+ for First Nation people
- Heart problems and diseases run in your family
- You smoke, have high blood pressure, or are obese
- You get chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, swelling, or irregular heartbeats.
Find out your eligibility for a heart health check by calling (02) 7808 0810 and request to speak with our Preventative health team.
