Dr Nikolas Fountas completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2011 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is committed to combining empathy, compassion and patient-centred care with clinical excellence when caring for individuals and families across all stages of life.
Dr Fountas holds a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Anatomy from the University of New England. nPrior to general practice, he worked in orthopaedic surgery across Sydney and the Hunter region, in addition to gaining experience in skin cancer medicine, occupational medicine and sports clinics. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, skin cancer medicine, men’s health, musculoskeletal and sports injuries, mental health and general medicine. Dr Fountas also accepts Workers Compensation patients and values providing evidence-based, practical care tailored to each patient’s individual needs and long-term wellbeing.
