Dr Merium Irfan graduated from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 2009 and is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and values building strong long-term relationships with patients and families across all stages of life.
After successfully completing her AMC examinations in 2016, Dr Irfan worked as a Psychiatry Registrar at Shellharbour and Wollongong Hospitals before continuing her clinical training at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals. Throughout her medical career, she has gained broad experience across a range of specialties including paediatrics, geriatrics, palliative care, emergency medicine and general surgery.
In 2021, Dr Irfan commenced training in general practice and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based healthcare tailored to each patient’s individual needs and believes continuity of care plays an important role in achieving positive long-term health outcomes.
