Dr Chaudhry Ahmed has been serving communities across regional New South Wales and Victoria since 2015. With over 14 years of prior experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon overseas, he brings extensive surgical expertise and a patient-centred approach to his work as a General Practitioner in Australia.
Dr Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in General Surgery, a Fellowship in Orthopaedics and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has a strong interest in procedural medicine and performs a wide range of minor surgical procedures within general practice.
His services include skin cancer checks and excisions, cryotherapy for skin lesions, removal of sebaceous cysts, lipomas and other skin lumps, pilonidal sinus procedures, toenail wedge resections, cosmetic mole removal, plantar wart excisions, vasectomy and infant circumcision. Dr Ahmed also performs Implanon insertion and removal, as well as removal of embedded foreign bodies and body piercings.
He is committed to achieving safe outcomes with excellent cosmetic results while providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside of medicine, Dr Ahmed enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid motorcycle rider and has recently taken up flying remote-controlled aeroplanes.
