Ali Mousavi graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine and began his podiatry career at Shoalhaven Podiatry Centre on the NSW South Coast. He enjoys all aspects of podiatry and are passionate about helping patients improve mobility, comfort and overall foot health through personalised and evidence-based care.
Prior to podiatry, Ali spent eight years working as an assistant nurse in the aged care sector, developing a strong interest in supporting older patients and those with complex healthcare needs. His clinical interests include high-risk foot care and lower limb biomechanics, alongside all aspects of general podiatry.
Being fluent in both English and Farsi/Persian allows him to provide accessible care to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Outside of work, he enjoys discussing history and culture, which remain long-standing personal interests.
